Cal Yee Farm LLC, a food supplier based in Suisun Valley, California, has issued a recall of several chocolate and yogurt-covered products due to the presence of undeclared allergens.
The recall affects a range of snack products sold under the Cal Yee’s and Cal Yee Farm brands, as well as items from Boa Vista Orchards, following an FDA inspection at the company’s facility.
The products being recalled may contain milk, soy, wheat, sesame, FD&C #6 (a synthetic food coloring), and almonds—ingredients that are not listed on the packaging.
For individuals with allergies or sensitivities to these substances, consuming the affected products could result in serious or even life-threatening allergic reactions.

The recall includes a variety of chocolate, yogurt-coated, and nut products, such as:

Butter Toffee Almonds were also available at Boa Vista Orchards’ retail location in Placerville, California.
While there have been no reported illnesses related to the recall at this time, consumers who have purchased the affected products are advised not to consume them. Instead, they should return the products for a full refund or dispose of them safely.
The recall was initiated after an inspection by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) discovered that several products containing the undeclared allergens were packaged without proper labeling to indicate their presence.
The recalled items were sold in various packaging, including clear plastic zippered pouches in sizes ranging from 8 oz to 5 lbs, with yellow labels prominently identifying the product. Some products, like the Dark Chocolate Apricots, were packaged in plastic containers with either white or yellow labels. The Fruit Basket products were sold in decorative baskets with a yellow label on the back.
