In a critical alert to parents and guardians, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has advised consumers to immediately stop using the NLFGUW electric gel ball blaster toy guns due to serious safety concerns.

According to the agency, the toy guns fail to meet federal safety standards for projectile toys, with concerns that the impact from the gel balls could potentially cause serious eye injuries to children.

The toy guns, sold in pink camouflage, are accompanied by a set of accessories including goggles, a USB charger, gel beads, a hopper, a gun head, a rechargeable battery, a USB cable, and a target. The packaging bears the labels “NLFGUW M416 ASSAULT RIFLE” and “GEL BALL BLASTER.” These items were sold exclusively on Amazon between April 2023 and September 2024, with an average price of approximately $29.

The CPSC has taken action by issuing a Notice of Violation to the seller, US TK, a company based in China. However, the seller has not responded to the CPSC’s requests for a recall of the hazardous toy guns.

In response to the safety risk, the CPSC is urging consumers to stop using the toy guns and dispose of them according to local disposal guidelines. The Commission also advises against selling or giving away the toys due to the potential hazard they pose.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to report any injuries or product defects related to the toy guns via the CPSC’s website at www.SaferProducts.gov.

For more information, consumers can visit the CPSC’s official website or check the product listing on Amazon.

**Parents are reminded to check their homes for these toy guns and ensure the safety of their children by adhering to the CPSC’s advice.**
