Frito-Lay has issued a voluntary recall for a limited number of 13 oz. bags of Lay’s Classic Potato Chips after it was discovered that some of the bags may contain undeclared milk. The recall follows a consumer complaint that alerted the company to the potential allergen risk.
The affected product was distributed to certain retail stores and e-commerce distributors in Oregon and Washington, with purchases available as early as November 3, 2024.
The company is urging anyone with a milk allergy or severe milk sensitivity not to consume the recalled product due to the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction.
As of now, no allergic reactions related to this recall have been reported. Frito-Lay has also confirmed that no other Lay’s products, flavors, sizes, or variety packs are included in the recall.
