Mashed Potatoes Recalled Over Undeclared Allergen

Dierbergs Markets has issued a recall for its 16 oz. Premium Home-Style Mashed Potatoes due to the presence of undeclared wheat, posing a risk to individuals with wheat allergies or sensitivities.

The recall was announced on January 3, 2025, and affects products with a sell-by date of January 9, 2025.

The affected mashed potatoes can be identified by a label ID number of 92, located in the lower left-hand corner above the UPC code (231220006538).

The recalled products were distributed to several Dierbergs Markets locations, including stores in Southroads, Four Seasons, Warson Woods, Manchester, West Oak, Clarkson, Arnold, Lemay, Bogey Hills, Florissant, Market Place, Mackenzie Point, Telegraph, Heritage Place, 94 Crossing, Deer Creek, Fenton, Brentwood, Green Mount, Wildwood, 79 Crossing, Wentzville, Edwardsville, Lake Saint Louis, and Crestwood.

Dierbergs Markets has confirmed that all affected products have been removed from store shelves and is working closely with the FDA to manage the recall, ensuring no other Dierbergs branded products are impacted.

Consumers who purchased the recalled mashed potatoes are advised to return unopened packages to the store for a full refund.
